Kenai Fjords National Park is located in the southeastern part of the Alaska, on the coast of the Gulf of Alaska. The park includes the Kenai Peninsula and the Chugach Mountains and was one of many parks established Dec 3 1980.
The park is named for the Kenai Fjords, which are the glaciers that flow into the sea from the Chugach Mountains.
