Yellowstone National Park is located in the northwest corner of Wyoming and is one of the world’s first national parks having been established in 1872. The park spans over 2.2 million acres, making it one of the largest national parks in the United States.

The park’s geothermal features are some of its most popular attractions. These features include geysers, hot springs, and fumaroles. The geysers are perhaps the most famous of these features. The park has over 500 geysers, and one of the most popular is Old Faithful. Old Faithful is a cone geyser that erupts every 35 to 120 minutes, shooting a column of water and steam up to 184 feet in the air.
