Lassen Volcanic National Park is a national park in northeastern California. The park is within the Cascade Range and includes the area around Lassen Peak, the largest plug dome volcano in the world, which is a type of volcano that is formed when magma is trapped in a plug of solidified lava.
Lassen Volcanic is also home to Mt. Shasta, one of the largest active volcanoes in the world. The park also includes numerous hot springs, geysers, and other hydrothermal features.
