Rocky Mountain National Park Patch
Rocky Mountain National Park is located in the north-central region of Colorado. The park is situated between the towns of Estes Park to the east and Grand Lake to the west. The park encompasses 415 square miles of land and includes many different ecosystems and is a popular destination for hikers, with over 350 miles of trails. The park has five visitor centers, four of which are staffed year-round, and also has a number of scenic drives, including the Trail Ridge Road, which is the highest paved road in the United States.
