Shenandoah National Park encompasses part of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia. The park is long and narrow, with the Shenandoah River flowing along its western edge. Shenandoah National Park stretches for over 200 miles, with over 500 miles of trails. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, black bears, coyotes, and birds of prey. And the park also has a rich history, with Native American artifacts dating back over 10,000 years.
